An Integrative Approach
to Dementia Risk Reduction
As a certified Integrative Wellness & Life Coach, I use a holistic approach that considers the whole person – mind, body, heart, and spirit. Drawing on philosophies and cultures throughout history – from the ancient Greeks to Native Americans and the ayurvedic sciences – this approach to wellness emphasizes the importance of balance, harmony, and wholeness.
Why Integrative Wellness?
As an expert in Dementia Risk Reduction, I work collaboratively with clients to increase brain-protective functions and decrease risk factors.
The simple truth is that everything you do good for your body, you do good for your brain. From exercise to nutrition and beyond, the choices you make today define your life tomorrow. I will provide you with research-informed tools and methods to improve your body’s ability to protect against dementia, chronic disease, and infirmity.
Like other chronic, degenerative conditions, dementia is easier to avoid than to reverse. Research shows that the risk of cognitive decline can be reduced by addressing and eliminating neuro-threats. I will empower you to become intentional each day with your time, energy, thoughts, actions, habits, and choices to optimize your dementia risk profile.
When it comes to Dementia Risk Reduction, there is no “one-size-fits-all” solution so we start with understanding your individual risk profile and co-create a wellness plan that is tailored to your needs, desires, and goals. I believe that all people are wired for empowerment and so my approach to conscious aging encourages intrinsic motivation, self-discovery, and accountability.
By combining an integrative, holistic approach with research-informed tools and methods, you will experience powerful transformation, lasting results, and the peace of mind that comes with knowing you are doing everything in your power to create the life you want today and in the future.
The Four Areas of Self
All four of these body systems make up each of us.
All are interconnected and affect one another.
